Multicultural Center of Marin
To open a gala with the spirit of celebration, we created this video in collaboration with Catherine Brozena of Color This World -- featuring the diverse work and dynamic people of the Multicultural Center of Marin. Coach/Speaker's Sizzle Reel: Jeff Harry
Our 3-piece package includes a video, website, and video banner. Integrating client's own iPhone and Instagram footage with a professionally lit interview scene, we strove to capture the outrageous, insightful, and always playful spirit of Jeff Harry -- coach and speaker extraordinaire. Portions were adapted to help brand his website via a catchy video banner. Experience it all at https://www.rediscoveryourplay.com/
Technical Promo: "Service Centric AI" by OpsRamp
Using a combination of screencasts, storyboarded animations, interviews, and office B-roll, we helped OpsRamp showcase their new all-in-one dashboard for IT Directors, while revealing the culture and brand values of their organization. Their Marketing staff worked closely with us to adapt a script that technically communicated stand-out features, while remaining flexible to staff needs to highlight their values of diversity and equity.
Corporate Story: L2F "Who We Are"
Our mission was 2-fold: to highlight L2F as a great place to work, and show the values, innovative principles, and dedication that has enabled L2F to succeed and be acquired by the number one kitchen manufacturing company in the nation. Motion graphics made the global scale of their recent acquisition more meaningful. We also animated their infographic of core values to give life to their unique process.
School Capital Campaign: Yu Ming Charter School
To plant the seeds for Yu Ming Charter School's capital campaign, we combined scenes from their vibrantly jam-packed Lunar New Year festival with stakeholder stories and classroom B-roll. A national model and the first Mandarin immersion public school in California, Yu Ming's students were a delight to capture speaking in Mandarin and English.
SHORTFORM SOCIAL MEDIA

Shortform Social Media Book Promo: The Patterning Instinct by Jeremy Lent
With animated text and captions, this under-1-minute shortform seeks to excite would-be readers for the first ever cognitive history of humans, melding stock footage with an author interview. Crafted to be viewable on devices in busy places where viewers may not be able to turn on sound, but can still digest the message.
30 second commercial: Premier Nissan of San Jose
In collaboration with Pixelfish Productions, we staged and shot various everyday scenes in an auto dealership, helped onscreen talent feel relaxed behind the camera, and coached the spokesperson on key talking points. Motion shots were critical to creating a fluid dynamic for a short 30-second spot, so every shot moves slightly. On the client's YouTube channel, this video garnered over 388K views.
WHAT WE'RE KNOWN FOR
Impact Stories: East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation
For the East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation's September fundraising gala, we featured individual stories and stakeholder testimonials, combined with motion graphics, to illustrate their impact while underscoring the urgent need for support. Crucially, viewers needed to know that EBALDC is more than an affordable housing developer, they're a community-building developer -- with a passion for accessible education, healthcare, and resident-based solutions.
Community Campaign: Friends of Lincoln Park
To highlight the strong community support for preserving and upgrading Lincoln Square Park, the most overused park in Oakland -- we captured the unveiling of the renovated Junk Boat playground, and the last of 2018's heavily-attended Lincoln Summer Nights. With aerial footage and street soundbytes, we captured the excitement and hopefulness of Lincoln Park's community of fans. The first in a series of videos that will galvanize supporters in a fundraising campaign for a beautiful, new, multigenerational, recreation center.
The Dala Documentary was born from the need to illustrate the historical development, care, and creative intention that inspires an artist’s lifetime of work. The documentary features an in-depth interview with the artist in the redwoods, shadowing the artist in various locales as he sourced materials and sketched new designs.
Large-scale Outdoor Festival Highlights: Dia de Los Muertos 2018
Capturing the main highlights of a single day festival that draws over 70,000 people, we formed a fantastic crew (including aerial) to ensure broad coverage of the dancing, the various stages, ofrendas (altars), and community building. The Unity Council's Dia de Los Muertos festival in the Fruitvale neighborhood sought a way to feature the vibrancy, popularity, and benefits of supporting this festival and surrounding local culture and economy.
Impact video: Unity Council receives Neighborhood Builders award
To communicate the breadth and depth of The Unity Council's work was no easy challenge. They do so much: from housing, to Head Start, to senior programming, to youth mentorship. We used a few story-based strategies to provide emotional focus while interspersing the CEO's voiceover to bring the services into larger context.
Community Capital Campaign: Lincoln Rec Center
A second phase in a multi-pronged campaign for a $10 million new recreation center, this video illustrates the multi-generational vibrancy and well-beloved (and well-worn) nature of the Lincoln Recreation Center in the heart of downtown Oakland. Sponsored by the Friends of Lincoln Park.
Highlights from Blue Prism World 2017 San Francisco [Full HD 1080p]
In collaboration with Pixelfish Productions, we captured all conference speakers, and interviewed attendees to produce a highlights video that gives prospective attendees a brief immersive experience of Blue Prism's day-long conference in San Francisco.
Event Highlights: World Premiere of EarthCapades' Family Show
EarthCapades' astounds and amazes audiences with their new Family Show. By a real family, for families! An actual family of jugglers and entertainers, Hearty, Lissin, and Kai present hilarious entertainment for all ages, while sneaking in a little ecology education too! Perfect for festivals, family theatres, schools, corporate, community and private celebrations. Visit EarthCapades.com for more.
Event Invitation: Community Music Center's Field Day
To excite and educate participants to join their annual Field Day performathon, the Community Music Center's communications staff worked closely with us to produce this Event Invitation video. Limited funding urged us to get creative, by shooting conservatively over a half day shoot, and incorporating existing footage as effectively as possible.
Program Promo: Play-well TEKnologies Afterschool Enrichment
An innovative way to teach kids engineering, math, science, and the arts -- using LEGOs! To feature the amazement and wonder Play-Well's afterschool STEM programs inspire, we interwove run-n-gun kids interviews with formal, meatier ones from staff.
Story Design & Edit: International Refugee Committee & Play-Well TEKnologies
With footage by Eun Creative, we captured what happens when you bring refugees and community through play! An innovative collaboration between the International Refugee Committee and Play-Well TEKnologies. In a single day, refugees built elements of their homeland using LEGOs, presented them to Silver Spring community members. Later that day -- together -- they built the city of D.C. out of LEGOs.
Donor Appreciation: Community Music Center
To give donors a glimpse into the lives they impact, we wove stories of several students with current and past B-roll to show how accessible music education has improved their lives, sense of self, and confidence. Working with budget limitations, we worked closely with staff to honor new storylines and messaging with as much past footage as possible to reduce production costs.
